XPDEL is a leading hi-tech 3PL company enabling growth for e-commerce businesses across India. Ashish Chadha founded it in 2021. Originating in LA, XPDEL is now expanding its foothold into the Indian market with its core services like fulfilment, inventory management and shipping solutions for brands across various sectors, including e-commerce, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, shipping and transport companies.
The company has a huge network of 11 fulfillment centers in the US and 3 fulfillment centers in India. The company offers a wide range of fulfillment and logistics solutions, including ultra-fast delivery models powered by industry-leading technology platforms.
The platform offers shipping services directly to consumers, to businesses, or selling through retail stores. Its network provides nationwide coverage for fast delivery for all sizes and types of products with advanced technology, which ensures order accuracy and consistent customer experience.
Back in 2018 in the US, the company began as Advatix, and it was from there XPDEL was subsequently born. XPDEL stands for “Expedited Delivery”, which means “Order Delivered On Time, Every Time!” Initially, it began as a consultancy, after which it established technology for logistics and transportation (from a middle mile to multi-model, last-mile delivery). The idea to develop some agile technology in India came from one of the company’s partners, Manish, who has experience with global companies like Amazon and FedEx.
‘Our global experience in running large fulfillment centers and providing unique shipping solutions makes us stand out from the competitors’, said Ashish. “The company is founded and operated by industry veterans that come with experience from Amazon, FedEx, UPS, JDA, Walmart, Target and other leading companies in eCommerce and Retail. Three factors that make XPDEL a hi-tech, advanced 3PL company are technology-powered 3Pl for both D2C and B2B business, industry experts, and a team of operators at the core”.
The company discovered the largest gap in the Asian countries was inventory rather than transportation. Therefore, by 2019, it switched from consulting to developing custom software depending on the challenges its enterprise client was witnessing with respect to inventory. The platform also began the process of going digital. These custom software/products became highly successful in the US markets as it started to fill in the major gaps in the inventory management.
XPDEL enables the brands to deliver products on time via deploying the latest technologies, live visibility, and round-the-clock customer support. For retailers to find sustainable growth and garner satisfied customers, every order must be fulfilled quickly and accurately. Today, we have integrated more than 30 carriers and have 11 fulfilment centres in the US and operating in three major markets in India.
XPDEL have come a long way in a short span of time. Mr Ashish shares what work for the venture, “It’s the people who run the day-to-day operations. Team XPDEL has years of experience in the fulfilment and logistics industry, has worked globally, and has created a world standard in running operations. The foremost USP of XPDEL is its technology which is built by the technology arm of XPDEL called as Advatix. The platform is called Advatix Cloud Suite, and it manages the end-to-end journey from Order to Delivery. The product enables a lean process and ensures poka yoke execution on the ground level. This particular set of technology provides numerous integrations with different platforms and visibility into the inventory as well as end-to-end tracking of orders to our customers”.
Talking about the company’s future plans, Ashish shares, “To grow 2X every year but at the same time remain profitable. We aim to provide unique fulfillment and shipping solutions to our customers and create a mark in the industry by providing value-added services which would be an industry first & help our customers grow their revenue & deliver exceptional customer experience”.
